For those who like Walking in the fresh air with beautiful landscapes and magnificent views then we have them all in abundance no matter which direction you choose. From the beautiful and extensive coastal paths a few minutes to the west of Caroe Farmhouse to the rocky Tors of Bodmin Moor to the East. This is a walker's paradise.

If riding is your thing there is plenty locally whether near the coastal paths or up on Bodmin with it’s wild open moorland, maginificent rocky outcrops, wooded valleys and gentle streams. All steeped in thousands of years of history and only ten minutes inland from where we are. Explore it on horseback or on foot for adventures you will never forget.

A relaxing Massage locally in St Teath, Tinagel, Bude or Wadebridge might be in order after your exersions. You might even round off the experience with some retail therapy then enjoy a meal in one of the many first class restaurants in the area. We can certainly advise you on this.

Golf at all levels is a favourite holiday pastime and there are many courses all around us. - St Enodoc, Trevose, Point at Polzeath, Bowood Park,  Bude & North Cornwall, Holworthy, Lanhydrock, & Merlin.

Cycling on the Camel Trail is a great way to have fun and to explore the Camel Valley and it's Estuary.

Padstow of course has much to offer from the sophistication of Rick Stein’s restaurant to the simple pleasures of the the Lobster hatchery and museum.

Power boat or sailing tuition in the Camel estuary at Rock might also be an option for the more adventurous whether for beginners or more competent sailors.

If Art is your thing drop into some of the many exhibitions in the area such as the Circle Contemporary Art gallery on the A39 near Wadebridge and spend some time in the various unusual retail shops and cafe which make up the complex.

Slightly further afield there is world class dining at Watergate bay where you might also enjoy Kite Surfing or traditional surfing, either as a particpator ( lessons are available ) or an observer, or you might just enjoy a walk along the magnificent beach before relaxing in Jamie Oliver's restaurant or the Watergate Bay hotel with a drink, meal or afternoon tea.

If that isn't enough then return to Caroe Farmhouse via Mawgan Porth beach, Bedruthan steps, Porthcothan Bay, Constantine bay, Trevose and see much more of the local area.
